Updates

So here's what's going on with Mike and me...we signed the papers today for our house which is now ours. (Sigh) what a relief. That was the longest ordeal. So now we are going to get to work and renovate ASAP! I'm sure there will be lots of fighting over the whole design aspect of it but lets be real I know a lot more about than he does. I mean, I am addicted to HG TV! So I'm positive I'll be winning most of those fights. On top of that we will surely be working some late hours, but all for a good cause. Again, I will post before and after pics as they come. We are also trying for a baby. Yippee!!! Mike finally came to his senses. However...I'm feeling a little discouraged. We've been trying for 3 months now and nothing yet. I know some of you are thinking, that's not long at all, but those of you who had to wait too probably felt the same way, like something is wrong with you or you are broken or something. That's the feeling right now. As many of you know I've had some problems with that whole area the past couple of years. Good news is, my Dr. said that after trying for 3 months and if no baby he's going to put me on clomid, so that's the next step. I'll be going in February to star that whole process. Man I just had to be the one in my family to get all the medical problems. Ha ha. Wish us good luck. We love you all and thank you for keeping us in your prayers.

Good Luck! I hear Clomed is no walk in the park but whatever helps is worth it right? I say, take off the rings, wear the clothes you wore in high school, and get busy in the car down some dark ally.. That's how it happened for a lot of my friends in High School!! lol (Don't do this, its nasty.)

Oh, I am so sorry that you have to go on that awful stuff! I was on it for 4 months before I got prego and then the 2nd time I wasn't on anything. My sister gets prego the 1st time on it every time so I hope you have good luck. Have your Dr send you to the hospital to get an HSG it is a procedure where they put dye through your tubes and xray to see if there is any blockage. And my biggest advise is just RELAX! If you are frustrated then give me a call I can relate. Oh and congrats on the new house!!

Congrats on the house, I am jealous. I can't wait for Adam to be done with PT school so we can buy a house and I can decorate it the way I want. Yeah about the baby news. That is exciting to be trying. Hang in there...it will happen!

Allie- obviously you'll do whatever you want but my advise is to read the book "taking charge of your fertility". It's awesome, and a great way to educate yourself and figure out for yourself what your body is doing. Then you can go into the doctor and he can really help you because you'll know what's going on. My doctor gave me a prescription for clomid after 6 months. I didn't get it filled. Turns out it was kind of a dumb thing for the doctor to do because I was already ovulating most of the time. But the doctor figured I wasn't because the one month I charted my temperature before going to the doctor, I hadn't. But I did almost every month after that. So, basically it would have been a useless med for me to use that just banged up my hormones and made me crazy emotional.

Also, I have two friends who have PCOS and both have gotten pregnant without clomid, even though the doctor prescribed it. So, I know it's frustrating at first but it's only a matter of time. Give me a call if you have any questions. Sorry, this is like the longest comment ever :)
