Spring is almost here!

This, to me, is the first sign of spring.  The tulips start poking through the ground giving me hope that this dreadful, ugly, winter will be gone in due time.  I can't wait to see all the colors of spring and smell the sweet perfume that permeates the air.  Oh what a joy...life is good!

Happy Love Day!

 Today is a hard day for some people, mostly the single, but I find it wonderful.  I used to hate Valentine's Day.  I mean why in the world would we need one day to celebrate our love for those that we do love?  Well, that's just it!  Our lives get crazy and hectic and on this day we always find time to remember to say 'I love you' to those special people in our lives.  It's a wonderful reminder of the things we are grateful for too.  So here are some things that I LOVE!

I love Mike,
He is such a hard worker and a wonderful provider for Remee and me.  He makes me laugh and brings great joy to my life!  And he's a sexy beast!

I love Remee,
What a blessing it is to have such a happy little girl.  She reminds me everyday how much my Heavenly Father loves me.

I love my church,
There have been many times in my life when I wouldn't know what to do if it were not for the gospel in which I believe. 

I love my friends and family,
Ironically my family are my friends and they have always been there for me to give me support and love.

I love myself,
I think one of the hardest things in life is to love and accept yourself.  I may not be happy with everything that I am or do (I'm a work in progress), but I have learned to love who I am, and I have learned that if my Father in Heaven loves me I should love me too!

I love Earth,
I find joy in the outdoors...well when it's not frickin cold outside!  I love the seasons and the beauty each one brings to this Earth.

I hope you all are able to think of what you love today and to reflect on those things.  oh ya, and don't forget to say 'I love you' to someone!

Remee in the kitchen

This little one is always fun to watch in the kitchen.  There's so much to get into and so much to make a mess out of.  What can I say?  She's a very entertaining girl!

A Trip To Cali

Mike, Remee, and I took a last minute trip to Cali because Mike had to work at the Isse Hair show in Long Beach.  We were hooked up by staying at one of the nicest hotels I have ever seen(it was right on the water and had the most beautiful views of the Queen Mary and Long Beach).  We surprised my Grandma and Grandpa by just showing up at their house on Saturday.  They were excited.  We had a wonderful trip and I was surprised at how well Remee traveled.



Remee insisted on eating every meal out on the balcony.

Remee and I took a walk to the Queen Mary and had a look around.  It was like 80 degrees out so we didn't stay too long.



We went to the pool to swim and found that the water wasn't heated...it was like ice.  So we splashed our feet in the water and then headed in for nap time.





Remee and Owen playing outside was the cutest thing I have ever seen.  They talked like they were old friends, and were so fun to watch.



We took a short trip to Disneyland and Remee loved it....so did I!



After a day of fun in the sun... there's a pooper to every party right?
