In Loving Memory

My wonderful Aunt Amy passed away today battling cancer. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend! We will miss your spunk and your laughter, your optimism, and your love.

I have a dream...

That for two weeks I will make dinner every night. Please oh please help me to make this dream come true. I have been such a slacker lately.

Today I finished the quilt I have been working on. Well, it's almost finished! It's my very first quilt and I LOVE it! It's bright and full of color, and I think it turned out pretty good considering that I don't cut straight, sew straight, or stitch straight. I can't wait to finally get started on decorating our guest room around it!

My darling little girl in her bike seat warms my heart. I LOVE her sweet tiny face! She loves riding on the bike. We bought a helmet for her and it barely fits her. Her head is just so tiny! She just sits behind me and talks and giggles. When the weather gets better we will be on the bike everyday!

No need to be tanning my pasty legs... I just used this stuff! Only 3 days in and my legs are significantly less glowing in the dark. I LOVE this lotion!

In honor of Mother's Day, of course I LOVE my Mommy! You are a strong, hard working, caring mother of mine and I LOVE you so much. Thank you for teaching me to be all that it takes to be a great mom and for loving me no matter what. Happy Mother's Day!

This guy is on Top Chef Masters this season and well, you are seeing correctly. There's no need to clean your glasses or rub your eyes... this guy has a full grown uni brow!!! I'm guessing he lives under a rock or a bushell of some kind because he hasn't fixed this giant hairy beast resting in between his eyes. I'm not a fan but you can be sure I'll be sending him a waxing kit or some tweezers soon.

I love...day 2 and day 3 oops

Yes, I realize that I said I would do this everyday and then I didn't end up doing it yesterday...but I will say it wasn't my fault. Really, it wasn't. I blame it on modern day medicine. You see, yesterday I got a migraine and rested for while and still it didn't go away, so I took some drugs(strong prescriptions drugs) and still the migraine went on. Then 4 hours later, after no help with the meds...I took more meds. Then I went to bed. I guess that finally worked cause the migraine is finally gone. You try typing something on the computer with a migraine. It doesn't work so great. So for yesterday... I LOVE not having migraines!!!! For today however, I feel all better and so I decided to make some awesome Strawberry-Kiwi Jam. I LOVE it. Get the recipe I used here.
