There is a woman I work with who embodies who I hope to become one day. She is amazing. Dedicated mother, supportive wife, honest, loyal, optimistic, and joyous are just some of her qualities. I'll admit that lately I have not quite liked myself. I have noticed that I have maybe fallen a little below the woman I used to be. I truly have been blessed to be working with her. She has motivated me to be a better person, a better member of the church, a better wife, a better example to those around me. I have a stronger desire to make a difference, to serve others. She truly is a wonderful person. I want her to know, if she ever happens to read this, that I appreciate her in my life. Thank you for being an example to me. Thank you for all you do and don't ever think you go unnoticed. You are appreciated.

Rain rain don't go away...

I know that's not the way the rhyme goes but can I just say how happy I am that it is finally raining? I always think it's quite sad that I live in a place where the news tells you to stay inside because the air pollution is in the "red zone". Yeah and they don't make it sound like it's that big of a deal! Hello people...our pollution is so bad that you are telling us it's unhealthy to breath the air outside. So I guess I just have to say I'm grateful it's raining today, tomorrow, and Saturday!

The never ending wallpaper!

Every room in our house has wallpaper, or should I say had wallpaper. I have truly come to believe that if I were ever to go to hell(which i really am sure would never happen)Satan would have me remove wallpaper all day and night long. And this would not be the easy wallpaper, but the really difficult kind to remove. The kind that I had to take down in our master bedroom. The entire room was covered in this paper that would come off in about 2 or 3 inch pieces. I spent almost all night taking it down. I hope I never go to hell, even just to visit.

Updates

So here's what's going on with Mike and me...we signed the papers today for our house which is now ours. (Sigh) what a relief. That was the longest ordeal. So now we are going to get to work and renovate ASAP! I'm sure there will be lots of fighting over the whole design aspect of it but lets be real I know a lot more about than he does. I mean, I am addicted to HG TV! So I'm positive I'll be winning most of those fights. On top of that we will surely be working some late hours, but all for a good cause. Again, I will post before and after pics as they come. We are also trying for a baby. Yippee!!! Mike finally came to his senses. However...I'm feeling a little discouraged. We've been trying for 3 months now and nothing yet. I know some of you are thinking, that's not long at all, but those of you who had to wait too probably felt the same way, like something is wrong with you or you are broken or something. That's the feeling right now. As many of you know I've had some problems with that whole area the past couple of years. Good news is, my Dr. said that after trying for 3 months and if no baby he's going to put me on clomid, so that's the next step. I'll be going in February to star that whole process. Man I just had to be the one in my family to get all the medical problems. Ha ha. Wish us good luck. We love you all and thank you for keeping us in your prayers.
