I have a huge problem. Jade is a stinker when it comes to nursing. I have had the hardest time with this child. She takes forever to latch. It's like the sight of my boobs makes her cringe or something. I go to feed her and she turns away...constantly. I have to wait til she screams or yawns to shove my boob in her mouth and then hope she actually takes it. I am at a loss of what to do. Does anyone have any good advise about this or has had the same problem? I feel like I have tried everything. I don't want to give up on nursing but getting frustrated and crying at every feeding is really wearing me down. HELP!!!!
P.S Did I mention I got another uterus infection? Man, do I have bad luck!!!

I'm no help. Sorry! I went to a lactation consultant by Timpanogos Hospital when I was desperate. It was like $35 for one on one for one hour and helpful but mainly she just pinched charlottes cheeks and made her open wide but it felt like I needed four hands to do it and like you said, I was crying all the time too so I lost it. Good luck!!!!!
I think you should try pumping and putting it in a bottle. Just sees how she takes that. She may just hate the boob, but like another vehicle.
Sierra had a hard time latching so I spent almost three months crying and trying before she was nursing exclusively. In the meantime I pumped and gave it to her from a bottle. She still got all the benefits of nursing it just wasn't coming directly from me. :) You can always try different feeding holds and such but I would guess you have already tried that. good luck.
