Update

Not much new is happening around the Kowallis household. We are just busy loving our little one and getting ready for some very exciting trips. Middle of October we will be going to D.C. and I'm so thrilled to be going back. I went years ago with my mom and step-dad and the one museum I missed was the Holocaust Museum. So, this year that's the first place we are going to. Second... we all know about my love for Disneyland and of course my birthday is coming up at the end of the month, so, that means here we come Disneyland. Now this year I am extra excited because Captain E-O is back! Hallelujah, because Honey I Shrunk the Audience was totally lame. With both of these trips there will be a lot of walking so I've decided to get these lovely ladies... Reebok Easy Tone Shoes. My legs and buns will soon be of steel!
Remee has been doing great without her pacifier. It was about 2 bad nights and then voila, now she's sleeping through the night again! She now goes to bed at 8:00 pm and sleeps til 6:30 am, I feed her, and then she goes right back to sleep til 9:30 am. She's a happy little girl. P.S. I swear by this book 'Baby Wise'. It's freakin genius. So go get it if you are having trouble with sleeping babies or know someone who is. Anywho, now instead of the pacifier, Remee sucks on her fingers. I think it's adorable. Although I know it will be an issue getting her to stop later but I won't be worrying about that now.
Now that Remee is about 4 months old she has some new and fun things she's been doing. She can roll over from tummy to back, and from back to tummy(well almost, her arm stops her but she'll figure it out). So there's no more laying her on the bed or couch. She loves her rattles and toys now. She grabs for them and flails her arms around to hear them jingle. It's amazing how fast she has changed. She loves standing up and thinks she's the coolest thing when she does. She just giggles and smiles for herself. Her Baby Einstein DVDs are her favorite. I have her watch them while I get ready and I can hear her the whole time talking and laughing to the the TV. Although every time I try to get it on video she stops. Due to the fact the this little girl is so dang wiggly, I have to keep an eye on her at all times. The other night my friend Trish and I were canning peaches and I put Remee in her swing to keep her entertained. Now, when I bought this swing and saw that there were buckles on it I thought 'Why would they need to put those on here, where's the little baby going to go?' Well, I learned my lesson. Trish and I were laughing at all the noise this little girl was making. She was talking up a storm in the other room, so we went to check on her and this is what we found. She had literally wiggled herself out of her swing and halfway onto the floor. What's funny is she didn't even care. She just kept carrying on her random conversation with her rattle.

So life is just great. Couldn't be happier. Well, I could if I was in Disneyland already but you get what I'm saying.
