Motherhood is great though. It's still great to know that she depends on me for food and love and comfort. Of course she gets that from her dad too. Remee is a joy to have around. She has such a sweet spirit. I love watching her funny facial expressions, hearing her laugh in her sleep, and seeing the silly face she makes before she goes #2, that, and the 10 minutes of grunting before she actually goes. Ha ha!
Life has changed quite a bit. I have gone from washing the laundry every Monday to, now, every other day almost. I feel like a farmed cow that just milks and milks and milks all day long. The things I thought used to taste so good are not so delicious anymore. I take the bathroom garbage out everyday because it fills up so fast with breast pads, feminine pads, diapers, and wipes. I want more than anything to take a hot bath, but can't, thanks to stitches and a healing uterus infection (which sucks, by the way).
All in all, we are doing great, Remee and I. Still trying to get that hang of things, but it's coming along. So enjoy some pics and don't worry there will always be more, that is... when I have the time to post!

Allie she's beautiful! Congratulations and sorry about the healing misery. I can totally relate with you. When you said about wanting a hot bath I nearly cried for you. I also had stitches, not the infection, but a broken tailbone keeping me from it. You'll get there don't worry. I'm glad I found your blog...I can't even remember how. I'm so happy for you though!
Don't worry, it WILL get better! I'm so happy for you guys!!!
Oh Allie, that first month is such a rollercoaster! I wussed out of breastfeeding but remember everything else you are experiencing like it was yesterday. Hang in there sister! How did you get a uterus infection? Did you have to have a C-section?
Allie! Congrats on the baby, I am so excited for you. I have tried to get in touch with you, but I guess you have other things going on (having a baby does that, huh). :) Julie hunted down your blog and now I can get my Remee fix. I really hope you're doing well and adjusting to all the new changes. Becoming a mom certainly turns ones world upside down. Your yard looks great, by the way, and Remee is lucky to have such a great mom.
So cute! Glad everything went great. Can't wait to see her.
