Happy Birthday to me!

I had such a fun birthday! Mike, my brother Jordan, and I drove down to Cali and went to Disneyland for my birthday. For my present Mike flew my sister Courtney, niece Kylee, and nephew Luke down to spend a couple of days with me. It was wonderful to have everyone there. My mom also flew out for a couple of days, and of course came to Disneyland with the rest of us. On Saturday we visited my great uncle Lou who is 91 years old! Then we went to see my grandma Barbara. I threw a little birthday bash for my brother for his birthday which is on the 1st of November. All of the extended family came over and we had cake and ice cream, and sat around and talked about all the funny things Jordan has done in his life so far. We took Kylee swimming, which was so funny to see. She can swim without floaties now. She kickes like crazy and only uses one arm to swim. She's so cute. I couldn't get enough of my cute little nephew Luke. I love holding his cute little body and making him smile. He's such a happy little guy. All in all it was so fun to be with family and to be in the happiest place on earth. The trip back to reality was sad. I hate having to come back to real life. Back to the stress and responsibilty. I just love being with my family and I really try to soak up all I can. So here are a couple of pics of our trip. Enjoy!

A New Taste!

So on Saturday Mike and I went to the Pizzaria 712 and had their beet salad. I have never tried beets before, they look scary and weird, so I tried a little and oh my goodness...I LOVE them! I pretty much ate the whole salad and all the yummy beets. Yum Yum...I'm not afraid of it...I love it!

Blindness...

Mike and I saw Blindness last night. It was a little disturbing to be honest but it really made me appreciate my sight, as bad as it is. I'm glad I can see the beauty Heavenly Father has blessed us with. Especially in the Fall, one of my favorite seasons ever. The leaves changing and the weather cooling. I love that I can pull out the blankets in the house and all of my coats and sweaters. I just love this time of year.
On another note, yesterday Mike surprised me with a facial at Acaydia. It was such a wonderful surprise and oh so thoughtful of him. It just goes to show that even though our men may not show us they love us everyday, they think about us all the time and really do want to please us. I am just so grateful for him and for the many blessings I have in my life. Such a happy time right now.

Help!!!

I love my puppy, however, she has a serious problem. She chews up everything! The list includes...The Book of Mormon, computer cords, picture frames, curtains, bags, my gorgeously green book, and many more. I googled what I should do and basically it told me that I can't lock up my dog because that's cruel, I shouldn't leave her tied up outside because that's mean, and that I should be with her at all times. Give me a break. I have a life and a job! So, then I read that I should lay everything on the ground that she shouldn't chew up and if she goes to chew on it, scold her. Problem is...I did that, and she didn't care about any of it. Just walked around it like it was no big thing. The second I leave the house to go to work she destroys everything. So Mike and I hid everything that was in doggy reach, and somehow she finds something else to get. I don't get it. I give her all these toys to play with and she doesn't want those, she wants to forbidden things. I'm at a loss! If any of you have advise...help a sista out! I mean is this face not scary enough?
