isn't going to be me. HA HA. Today I tried out my vocals to the rest of the crowd in Salt Lake City. Mike and I woke up at 3:00 am to get ready and leave to be there at 5:00 am (the time they told us to be there), but to our suprise we just stood outside for 3 hours waiting for them to let us in and take our seats. Don't let the show fool you, this was not a fun experience. In fact it was the worst. They make you scream and shout every five seconds, act excited, sing these stupid crowd songs, all the while you are just trying to stay awake cause you only got about 3 hours of sleep and you haven't eaten for about 8 hours cause you are so nervous and scared, and you haven't had anything to drink cause you are so incredibly scared that you will wet yourself the second you get up to sing. Well I got down to the floor to audition at about noonish and they told me no. I don't blame them! I was shaking in my boots, holding my pee that I swear was about to come spilling out of me the second I opened my mouth, and I was so nervous I didn't even sing very well. I guess it just wasn't for me. I think Heavenly Father has another plan for me...like having babies and moving to Washington. Ha ha, I only wish Mike would approve of that plan. Maybe one day soon. Love to you all!

Go Green!
Ok now don't get the wrong idea. I'm not going to become one of those annoying crazy people about going green, but this book opened my eyes to so many ideas. It really makes you think about what you are putting in the trash, on your body, and in your body. I think everyone should read this book and yes maybe modify it to fit your lifestyle but read it with an open mind and you will love it. I couldn't put this book down. I ask everyone to start becoming green. It's the best thing you can do for this planet and for your body.

One Scary Story!
So here we are in our new apartment thinking life is good. I mean it's not the nicest place in the world, but it will work for a little bit. OK sorry I have to back up a little. When Mike and I first were looking for a place to rent it was a little hard because we have our wonderful dog. Apparently people don't like pets around here, cause everyone said no to us living with a dog in their place. Well we narrowed it down to two places. One was pretty pricey and the people at the front desk weren't very nice. The second was a good price and a fixer upper, if you know what I mean, but the people in the office were so nice and friendly. So we picked the place with the nice people. What a deception. Not even like 4 nights into living there Mike went to take the dog out in the morning and the cops were at our next door neighbors. That freaked us out a little bit. Then a couple of days later we are driving to the movie theater and right outside of our building are the cops, again. They had just busted like 15 illegals and they were all lined up against the building staring at us. Then just today, to top it all off, I go outside to take Raven out and there are the cops again right next door. He called me over and asked how long the neighbors had been screaming at each other. To be honest I didn't hear them but whatever. He then went on to explain that I need to be safe and careful in this neighborhood because it's not safe. That there are a lot of gang members that live here and other bad people. I should go and buy some pepper spray and never walk alone at night and to always keep my door locked, and just went on and on about it. This just got me really scared. I said thank you and I went right inside and just started to cry. I can't believe that we would move to a place like this. What the hell is wrong with us? So, Mike is going into the office tomorrow and demanding that we get our money back and that we are moving. Cause I'll tell you what, I don't want to die at the age of 21!

My New Nephew!
I can't even explain how grateful I am for my wonderful niece and nephews. They are all so cute and fun to be around. This last week I had the oppotunity, again, to see one of my sisters kids be born. Baby Luke was born on June 9th. He is so adorable and oh so small! Here are a few pics of him on the day he was born.

Go Obama!!!
OK I'll admit, I wouldn't vote for any of them on first choice but man do I hate Hilary Clinton. She bugs me so bad, that manly laugh and her mullet hair. What a sin! So you go Obama, I'm happy you kicked her a**! Who's with me?

Nap time!
So Mike and I were watching T.V together while Raven was sleeping. To my surprise I looked over a Mike and found this cute sight. What a Kodak moment right? Too bad I woke Mike up with the flash from the camera. Oops...

As they walked and walked and...
Today we took Raven on a hike up past PG high school. Not a very long hike but it's up hill the whole way really. Let's just say that I should've brought my inhaler. Anyway, at the top of the trail is a cute little waterfall and Raven splashed around in the freezing water, but at the bottom there's a pond that's probably waist high in the middle. We tried to guide Raven in the water to take a little swim and she would go in about knee high and then hop right out. After standing there for about 5 minutes or so, after gaining up the courage, she jumped right in and swam to the other side. It was so funny!! She paddled as hard as she could and the whole time she had her mouth wide open, taking big gulps of water the whole way across. So I guess you could say our baby had her first swim today, and our camera ran out of batteries right before the big moment. What a bummer.

Our Little Bundle of Joy!!!

Raven is now 4 months old and acts just like a 3 year old toddler. Our wonderful morning routine is what I love the most. She wakes us up at about 6:00 am barking, needing to go out to "do her duty". She then crawls in bed with us and sleeps until Mike's alarm wakes us at about 8:30 am and then is ready to eat, play, and then "do her duty" once again. After which she is exhausted and sleeps for about another 2 hours. This continues throughout the day. We are always following her around and yelling her name to make sure she hasn't hidden some special surprise for us...if you know what I mean. I think our laundry load on towels have doubled weekly. If anyone is contemplating on having kids right now...get a puppy first. They will soon wake you up to the real reality of what awaits you with having kiddies. I think we will hold off just a little longer.
It's about darn time!
So, finally I gave into the blogging thing. I have always enjoyed reading other bloggers but always thought my blog would be so boring, but whatever, if it is boring....then don't read it!!! I'll blog later.
