This little one is always fun to watch in the kitchen.  There's so much to get into and so much to make a mess out of.  What can I say?  She's a very entertaining girl!

A Trip To Cali

Mike, Remee, and I took a last minute trip to Cali because Mike had to work at the Isse Hair show in Long Beach.  We were hooked up by staying at one of the nicest hotels I have ever seen(it was right on the water and had the most beautiful views of the Queen Mary and Long Beach).  We surprised my Grandma and Grandpa by just showing up at their house on Saturday.  They were excited.  We had a wonderful trip and I was surprised at how well Remee traveled.



Remee insisted on eating every meal out on the balcony.

Remee and I took a walk to the Queen Mary and had a look around.  It was like 80 degrees out so we didn't stay too long.



We went to the pool to swim and found that the water wasn't heated...it was like ice.  So we splashed our feet in the water and then headed in for nap time.





Remee and Owen playing outside was the cutest thing I have ever seen.  They talked like they were old friends, and were so fun to watch.



We took a short trip to Disneyland and Remee loved it....so did I!



After a day of fun in the sun... there's a pooper to every party right?



We the People...

I don't know about you but I love politics, especially when it comes to the presidential debates.  If you watched them last night you got a good show.  Romney kicked A!  I was so proud.  We paused the debate last night and I couldn't help but take a pic cause their faces say it all.

• Santorum: looks like a tampon and is a major bully.  You can tell by the expression on his face that he can't be taken seriously.
• Newt:  He's just lost all together. That happens when you're continually burned by Romney. 
• Romney: actually cares about who's talking and what's being said.
• Paul:  Got to love him.  He's so intense, and hilarious. 

A Trip to Washington

Remee and I went to my sister's house for a week, to visit!  It was wonderful.  We relaxed by watching movies, hit up a yoga class, went on a long drive, and spent lots of time giggling(we are girls, that's what we do)!  Here are a few pics from the trip.

Picture Book Love

Remee has been really into reading lately.  She's learned to climb up onto the glider and rock herself while reading her books.  She gives all the animals and characters in her books kisses, and it's probably the cutest thing I have ever seen(I say that a lot I think).  Yesterday we decided to take her to the library for the first time.  She walked through all the aisles and aisles of picture books and would pic out a few.  We got a big stack them to read at home.  Then... Remee thought it was an appropriate time to flash everyone.

Happy New Year 2012

It's almost here...a brand new year.  I have decided to not write ANY new years resolutions.  Why you ask?  All I want this year for myself is to be better, in every way.  A better mom, wife, sister, daughter, friend, and so on.  I find I always write resolutions and then I'm saddened by the fact that I didn't meet some of them.  I'm pretty sure I can't fail at just being better than I was the year before.  Looking back on this past year... it's been a crazy one.  Lots of traveling(which I hope won't end), new babies in our extended family, heartache with not get pregnant yet, business growing and moving, family moving away, and the typical getting older and wiser.  I look forward to this new year and the surprises it may have along the way.  I wish you all a year full of hope and joy.  A year that brings blessings and clear thoughts!  May you have a wonderful last day of 2011!

The Living Planet Aquarium

Today my mom, Remee, and I headed up to the Living Planet Aquarium.  Since the last time I went there, about 3 or 4 years ago, things have improved.  Thank goodness.  It was a total dud the last time I went. This trip, I had a lot of fun, and so I'm sure Remee and mom did too.  That and, with my new camera... all the pictures I took actually turned out great!  Yipee!

Christmas time and a great gift!

Having a kid makes Christmas way more fun. I was so excited to see Remee open her gives and even more excited that she loves playing with every single one of them. She is really into pushing things around so Grandma Leesa got her a baby doll and a stroller. Remee loves giving her dolly a walk around the house.

I gave Mike a trophy case to display his half marathon medals. I thought it was awesome...still not sure if he does!

Christmas this year was wonderful, relaxing, and full of love. Oh yeah... guess what I got? A NEW CAMERA! I'm thrilled. Aren't you?
