I hate pacifiers!

Notice anything similar in these pictures...

Yes you are right... they all have pacifiers in them. Well, thanks to these stupid things they put Remee right to sleep, however, when she accidentally wakes up at night and it's not in her mouth anymore, then I have to get up and give it back to her. So today starts the no more pacifier days. She's had a little bit of hard time falling asleep (to say the least) but I'm sticking with it. She's got to learn sometime how to put herself to sleep right? I hope this doesn't make me a bad mom. Who knows... maybe she'll come to me when she's 16 and say 'Mom, remember when you took my pacifiers away from me? Ya that was really bit**y of you!' Then I'll ground her, of course, for swearing.

My Husband the Lumberjack!

So there WAS this tree in the front of our yard that sat right up next to our driveway. Well, we are soon going to be getting a new driveway, and to prevent further cracks and whatnot we decided to cut the tree down. Well, Mike called some "tree expert" to come out to give us a quote on cutting it down and they quoted us $725.00!!! Are they serious? So... of course I talked Mike into cutting it down himself :) I know all of you are thinking 'that's so dangerous you're a horibble wife'. Yes it is dangerous and no I'm a great wife thank you very much, but Mike had all the right equipment and took it down little by little. I must say I'm so proud of my hubby! Now we have firewood for years to come!
Our huge tree... that's tiny little Mike standing next to it.

Not bad for a day's work!

I'm Engaged!

OK so we all know I'm married. DUH! But coming this weekend, Mike and I will be sealed! I can't even tell you how excited I am. I love Mike so very much and I can't imagine my life without him. What a blessing to know I'll be able to be with him, and Remee, forever. I'm the luckiest girl in the world.
Also, my engagement ring in this pic was broken for about 5 months or so. One of the prongs broke or something. So it was sitting in my closet for a long time, waiting to get fixed. Well, while I was in Seattle with my sis, Mike took it in to get fixed and surprised me with it the other night. Isn't he so cute? My finger finally feels complete!

Ladies weekends!

With Mike being gone a lot for work with Brocato, Remee and I get to have some great mommy-daughter bonding time. We watch movies, take baths, and cuddle a lot. I'm loving getting to know my little Remster better. Too bad we wish Daddy was here with us too!

The camping queen

This little angel had her first camping trip. This past weekend we went up to Payson Lakes for a Salon campout with all the girls and their fam's from the Salon. It was a lot of fun getting to know all the ladies a little better and to see how much Remee loved the outdoors.

Reflux

So I have decided, on my own, that Remee has Reflux. Seriously this kids spits up more than I have ever seen, and she's kinda fussy when she eats. So I researched online about it and just figured that that was what she has. So I bought this great stuff called Colic Calm. It's all natural ingredients, and helps with the effects of colic, gas, and reflux. Let me just tell you... it freakin works. She went from wearing a bib all day long and spitting up constantly to not wearing a bib at all and maybe she spits up like twice a day. What a freakin relief. I'm glad she's a happier baby. If you have this same problem... buy this stuff. It's guaranteed to work.

We're back!

After a much anticipated couple of months, Remee and I took a visit to my sister's house in Washington and then to Portland, OR for a cousin's wedding. We went to the fair and saw a newborn calf. Not kidding... this guy behind us is only 1 day old!
The weather was hot the first couple of days in Washington, and since no one there has A/C, Remee decided to sleep nakey! Seriously thought what's the deal with people not having A/C there? That's the dumbest thing! Pretty sure you have to take a cold shower to cool off, and it's a surprise to me that anyone uses their ovens when it's that hot. I would just decide to starve. It's way to hot to cook!
We drove to Portland's Rose Garden. It was amazing. Millions of roses to smell. My mom had to stop and read what every rose was. She's a flower lover!

We loved the Rose Garden. So many roses, so little time.
Remee loves her Great G-ma!
The girls play when the boys are away!
My cousin's wedding was gorgeous. It was at an organic farm in Mt. Hood. I wish I lived there! The air was fresh and cool, and holy cow the food was amazing! This pic was at the reception. My sis and I are crazy dancers!
