Glitter Toes

Today my friend Tricia gave me glitter toes at the Salon. I love love love them!!! If you want some just call the Salon. They take about 30 minutes and they are only $25.00!

I have a problem...

A very serious ant problem.
They have taken over my kitchen.
Bought some traps.
Pray they work.

Things I Love!

Today has just been a good happy day, filled with almost all of the things I love. I was able to watch some chick flicks because Mike never watches them with me. I personally loved this one today.

I also ate lunch with my brother, which is always entertaining. He's one of the funniest people, and we ate delicious Costa Vida. Yummy...

I took my little Raven for a walk because I love her and the weather is so beautiful today. Isn't she the cutest?

I visited Mike at the Salon for a minute, which is always nice. Everyone there is so nice and welcoming. Metropolitan Salon is the best around. I love that my hubby has a place that he really enjoys being at and looks forward to working. I also just LOVE Mikey! He's the best!
So all in all my day was wonderful. Filled with all the great things I have in my life. Well I didn't name all of them but you get the idea.

The Time Has Come...

Yes, it has been so long since I last posted so I'm a slacker. But really we have been swamped with things. We took a little trip to Washington to visit my sis, and to get away from the work at the house, Mike had his birthday... the big 31, we both have been working our butts off, I'm now doing the Soel Boutique Blog, which I really enjoy doing... it's nice to update here and there, I've pulled weeds and planted beautiful flowers, it's just been crazy. I know I said I would post before and after pics of the house but our computer needs some TLC before I can do that. I need to clear up some space in order to upload the pics. Again I promise it will get done I'm just not quite sure when.

I'm just enjoying life and staying busy. I really am enjoying being outside in the garden. Pulling weeds I don't enjoy and thanks to my sis-in-law they are mostly gone. I owe you big Rach!!! Raven loves having a yard and love that she has one too. She just runs around like a crazy puppy and then passes out under the shade. It's so cute. I'm not stressing about getting pregnant. It will happen when it's supposed to happen, and I finally feel at ease with that. All is well. Thank you all for you prayers an love!

Babies!

Once again, reporting that I'm not pregnant. You know I must admit this is one of the hardest things for me to write about.  I see my friends blogs and they are all having babies and growing their families.  I'm left behind with nothing.  April will be our 6th month trying, and I'm feeling not really frustrated or stressed at all but honestly just heartbroken.  This is the one thing in my life I have ever wanted.  I want to be a mommy, I want to be able to deliver my own child.  I don't mean to sound like a pessimist but I'm starting to feel like is that a real possibility?  Am I doing something in my life that's wrong and I'm being punished in some way?  I just don't understand that stupid crack moms can get pregnant and throw their babies in dumpsters and here I am wanting a baby more than anything and I can't have one.  All I want is a healthy, pooping, crying, waking up at all hours of the night, baby.  Is that too much to ask for?  

Why can't people be honest!

I walked out to my car today with a big surprise.  Someone had hit my car and smashed in my driver's side door.  No note, no insurance info.  I just don't get it.  Really I'm not mad that it happened, because those things do happen, I'm mad that no one bothered to tell the truth and apologize.  The person who hit my car doesn't care about me, only them self.  Now what do I do?  Can you tell I'm pissed.  I guess that's just what happens your last day in ghettoville.

The Bachelor Dump

I must admit, I don't watch this show, except for the last show, cause I think it's stupid. Case in point...these relationships never work out. Once again I'm not surprised that Jason, the bachelor, dumped his fiance, Melissa, after he's already put a ring on her finger. Why don't they just cancel this dumb show? I mean let's be serious. Hey I have a great idea! Why don't you stupid people go out and find real dates and date like normal human folk. That seems to work a lot better.

It's been too long...

I know it's been so long since I last posted but we have been so busy with the house. The good thing is we are almost done with it.  Well the upstairs anyway.  We are finally painting, the cabinets are up and the countertops are almost in.  It just feels so good to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.  Hopefully we will be moving in before the 10th of March.  Then we will have time to get working on the downstairs.  I'm really getting anxious to get outside and get my hands in the dirt.  The sunny weather we are having doesn't help.  When the whole thing is done we will have you all over for a big BBQ.  Oh I'm already excited.  

A Busy Week!

We started the week off with my new haircut, which I love. I got blunt bangs and some highlights. Mike did a great job. My Mom and Step-dad Mike came into town to visit. We had a fun time together. We went to Soldier Hollow and went sledding. That was hilarious. Mom and Mike took out the fences at the bottom. I guess no one told them to drag their feet. Raven turned one on the 4th. I still am amazed at how much love I have for her. She's like my little baby and as weird as it sounds, it's sad to see her get older. She's growing up so fast. Last but not least, last night we went to the Harlem Globe Trotters basketball game. That was so funny. I think everyone should go to one. You'll laugh your butt off. Sorry no pictures, I'll post later!
