Rough Day

There really is nothing like ending a long day of chores and a cranky toddler than with a warm bubble bath by candle light.

But in other news...
We bought Remee a few backyard toys to keep her busy during these wonderful spring days.  She wants nothing more than to be outside picking up rocks and getting dirty.  We got her a sandbox, which she loves to pieces.  She won't actually get in it though.  She just stands or sits to the side of it and fills up her shovels and buckets.  We also got her a little pool on the hottest freakin day ever.  It was 88 degrees and let's be real she needed a dip.  Surprisingly the cold hose water didn't bother her at all, and Raven even decided to jump in and sit down.  Mike really tries to get me out of the house a lot.  I've been really tired.  Ok a better word would be exhausted.  I don't want to go on walks or even think about doing any physical labor.  Walking up the stairs gets me winded.  I try to rest as much as I can but not much seems to help.  I'm wishing for a day to just sleep...seriously I want to sleep all day!!!  Anyway, I gave in last Sunday and went on a walk at Bridal Veil falls.  That was hard work.  Gosh I sound like a 600 pound person.  Anyway, I'm just loving spring and the warm weather.  Remee has been a trooper not really having a mommy to play with.  I'm a little out of sorts!  She's a doll though and I just can't wait to meet the little one growing inside me.

We have a lot of bad hair days in this house.  This kid HATES to get her hair done, let alone brushed!  I get a good laugh out of this photo!!!

Breaking News

Yes people, we are expecting!  We are thrilled, obviously...I mean it took 10 months of horrid pills and scheduling, but now there's a little human in there growing!  I'm 9 weeks along and the baby is due November 24th!  I can't wait to hear the heartbeat and get out of this exhausted slump I'm in.  Growing a tiny human the size of an olive is really hard work!!!

Easter Sunday

Easter is a great Holiday.  I mean any holiday that we celebrate Christ is always going to be great!  This year we had a relaxing day that ended with dinner and egg hunting at Grandma and Grandpa's.  Remee had to wear her 'eyes' in the car cause it was such a nice day.  She loved egg hunting and every egg she picked up she would say 'eh' and 'wow'.  She soon discovered they were filled with candy and made Grandma open every one of them to devour what was inside!  I'm surprised she didn't get a tummy ache!  Happy Belated Easter to everyone and I hope we are all able to remember Christ everyday and not just on the awesome holidays He's provided us with.

A Week with My Sister

I had a lot of fun with my sister and the kids this past week.  It's been too long since I've seen them.  Ok it was really that long...I just saw them in January.  Anyway, with the weather being so wonderful we made sure to get out and enjoy the sun.  We went to the park, played with chalk in the backyard, and enjoyed the spring flowers at the Temple in Salt Lake.  I miss everyone already.  Well, I don't miss the noise.  What a difference in the noise one child makes compared to three.  It makes me feel bad for my parents who had to put up with three fighting kids all the time.  Sorry Mom and Dad.

Kylee and Luke thought it would be funny to put chalk on Remee's face.  She didn't mind, to be honest, she was just mad I was taking her picture!
The tent I made was a huge hit with Luke and Remee.  They got along so well and played in that tent a lot!
I got new glasses.  They were FREE by the way...I just payed shipping!  Check out Coastal.com!  You won't regret it.  They have some awesome glasses to choose from, and your first pair is FREE to new customers!
Check out those gorgeous flowers at Temple Square.  Plus, everyone should get a picture with a random stranger in the background!

Mommy and Baby Bath Time

Nothing quite like giggling with my girl in the tub!
