Movie Review

Sadly, I only have one movie review. It's tough to time feeding and how long movies are and all of that but luckily, yesterday, we were able to time it all just perfect.
First of all, I'm starting to think that Jerry Bruckheimer is involved in every movie, show, and commercial. His name is everywhere, and everything that he produces is great (except for CSI Miami, cause that show just plain sucks... sorry mom). So when I saw his name on the screen within the first few seconds of the movie I knew I was in for a real treat. I really liked this movie. It was little cheesy but hey, it's Disney! Only thing that was a little confusing... just because you are a Sorcerer doesn't mean you have to look like you haven't showered for 1,000 years. I'm just sayin'!

What happens in Vegas...

Ends up being shared on this blog! We had a very fun little weekend in Vegas. Mike had to go down for a show and so Remee and I tagged along for the ride. It was fun to sit out by the pool and soak up some sun. We had the most delicious sushi and I think I walked as much as I do when I'm at Disneyland. I'm in need of a pedicure, anyone want to come with?
Holy cow, can you tell I'm breastfeeding? Yikes!!!!!

My girl at 6 weeks

I seriously can't believe 6 weeks ago I gave birth to this darling girl. I love her more and more everyday! So here are some things she does these days.

  • She loves her tummy time and can already do push ups. She's so freakin strong!

  • She is obsessed with her pacifier. I'm not kidding, she must have it in her mouth almost all day long.

  • She smiles a lot and giggles in her sleep.

  • She goes to bed at around 10:30 pm and sleeps about 7 hours, feeds and then sleeps another 3 hours.

  • Cries for only 3 reasons. Tired, hungry, or her pacifier fell out.

  • Loves car rides and they put her to sleep so easily.

She is just our little cutie and we love her so much!

Yummy!

If you live in Utah Valley and you haven't eaten here you are missing out big time. It was started by the guys who brought you Cafe Rio so you know it's going to delish! Everything is made fresh daily from their noodles to pizza dough. You must try... click here to check out their website!

I'm doing the challenge!

After having Remee, nothing is the same. I'm not talking about everyday life with a baby either. I mean my poor body has gone through some really serious changes. One being my innards. Now I know this might be serious TMI for some of you but hey I'm open about everything. So, I figure since my intestines were jammed up by my ribs for a few months things can get a little messed up if you know what I mean. So I've decided to do the challenge.

4th of July

Our 4th of July (which was really celebrated on the 5th because Utah is weird and wouldn't celebrate it on Sunday so it was done on the 3rd and 5th) was actually one of the most eventful I've had in a long time. Every year Mike runs the freedom days 5k and I was planning on coming with him in the morning to cheer him on but decided it was way more important to get an extra bit of sleep with Remee. Then we headed down to the Salon to watch the parade, which we also do every year. After which we went down to Utah Lake and swam. Well, I couldn't swim... I don't want to get an infection so I'm being extra careful. But, we took Raven and Remee and met some friends for a couple of hours of swimming and mingling. Raven had a blast! She just followed Mike around in the water. We stuck Remee in the water for her first swim and she loved it. She just basked in the sun, and soaked up some much needed Vitamin D. I think she'll be our little water baby. Later that evening we went over to my friend Julia's for some dessert. So all in all it was a very fun packed day full of friends and sunshine. Enjoy the pics.
