Today we took Raven on a hike up past PG high school. Not a very long hike but it's up hill the whole way really. Let's just say that I should've brought my inhaler. Anyway, at the top of the trail is a cute little waterfall and Raven splashed around in the freezing water, but at the bottom there's a pond that's probably waist high in the middle. We tried to guide Raven in the water to take a little swim and she would go in about knee high and then hop right out. After standing there for about 5 minutes or so, after gaining up the courage, she jumped right in and swam to the other side. It was so funny!! She paddled as hard as she could and the whole time she had her mouth wide open, taking big gulps of water the whole way across. So I guess you could say our baby had her first swim today, and our camera ran out of batteries right before the big moment. What a bummer.

Our Little Bundle of Joy!!!
Raven is now 4 months old and acts just like a 3 year old toddler. Our wonderful morning routine is what I love the most. She wakes us up at about 6:00 am barking, needing to go out to "do her duty". She then crawls in bed with us and sleeps until Mike's alarm wakes us at about 8:30 am and then is ready to eat, play, and then "do her duty" once again. After which she is exhausted and sleeps for about another 2 hours. This continues throughout the day. We are always following her around and yelling her name to make sure she hasn't hidden some special surprise for us...if you know what I mean. I think our laundry load on towels have doubled weekly. If anyone is contemplating on having kids right now...get a puppy first. They will soon wake you up to the real reality of what awaits you with having kiddies. I think we will hold off just a little longer.
It's about darn time!
So, finally I gave into the blogging thing. I have always enjoyed reading other bloggers but always thought my blog would be so boring, but whatever, if it is boring....then don't read it!!! I'll blog later.
